Karla Ann White

Ms. Karla Ann White, popularly known as Kitty or Kat, was the beloved daughter of Ms. Angie White and Mr. Rudy McClarity. Kitty had a passion and zest for living, family, friends and cooking. She loved being in the company of others and was a true people person.

Her love of creative cooking led her to pursue a degree in the culinary arts from Metro Community College where she excelled and became a celebrated student.

Cooking was her passion, but the loves of her life came in the form of her two granddaughters, Tiny and T.T., with whom she spent countless hours planning tea parties, playing pretend chef, and making sure they got all of the love and attention she could bestow upon them.

Kitty took her place in heaven after waging war against pancreatic cancer.

Precious memories of her will be kept by her treasured son, Antone D. White of Omaha, NE; the apple of her eye and her youngest granddaughter, Antoinette D. White (Tiny) of Omaha; her beloved eldest granddaughter, Tiera L. Conway-White of Abilene, TX; her adored sisters Kimberley R. Taylor-Riley of Omaha and Sandra Reade of Durham, NC; brother Willie D. White of Illinois; a very special mother-aunt, Velma (Suzan) Mackey of Omaha; sister-cousins, Michelle I. Moore of Phoenix, AR, Shonna K. Roberts-Byrd of Omaha and Mary L. Hardeman-Bean of Omaha; uncles (Herbert Mackey, Robert White & James White), nieces (Jayden Riley, Jasmine Vaughan, Janelle Wash, and Naukeya White), nephews (H. Leeon Vaughan, C. Anthony Vaughan,II, Nathan White, and Michael Adams) and many loving grand nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

A life celebration memorial will be held Friday, April 20, 2:00pm – 4:00pm at Lothrop Social Hall, 3232 North 24th Street.
